Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by Canine Advanced Training Services, LLC ("C.A.T.S.", "we", "our", or "us"), including our website (www.dogdfw.com), training, daycare, grooming, and boarding services, as well as any use of the Goose platform through our website. By using our services or booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions "Owner," "Client," or "Customer" refers to the individual who owns, registers, or is responsible for a pet and who books or utilizes services through C.A.T.S., either directly or via our third-party booking platform, Goose. By agreeing to and/or paying for services, Owner acknowledges and accepts the terms outlined below and assumes full responsibility for their pet(s) (“Pet(s)”).
Platform & Data Management
Customer accounts, reservations, payment, and booking information are managed through our third-party booking engine, Goose and Quickbooks. By using our site and scheduling services, you acknowledge that your data is stored and processed in accordance with Goose's Terms and Privacy Policy. C.A.T.S. and Goose work together to safeguard your personal data and provide seamless booking experiences.
1. Owner Representations & Acknowledgments
- Owner certifies that all information provided about their Pet(s) is accurate and up to date.
- Owner represents that they are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement.
- Owner acknowledges the inherent risks of boarding, daycare, training, and grooming, including, but not limited to, minor injuries (scrapes, scratches, bites), illness, stress, and unpredictable animal behavior.
2. Customer Accounts
To make a reservation, or purchase services, you must create an account on our website or via Goose. You agree to provide current, accurate, and complete information and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are liable for all activity on your account.
3. Reservation Services
All services (including boarding, daycare, training, and grooming) must be reserved and paid in advance through our website or Goose’s online system. Services are subject to availability and approval. Some reservations are not guaranteed until confirmed by a C.A.T.S. teammember. C.A.T.S. agrees to provide the following services based on the Owner’s selected care package:
- Boarding & Daycare: Safe and supervised accommodations for Pet(s) in designated areas of the facility.
- Feeding: Meals and fresh water provided according to Owner’s instructions.
- Exercise & Enrichment: Daily exercise, playtime, and socialization opportunities as deemed appropriate by C.A.T.S.
- Medical Care: Prompt attention to any medical needs or emergencies. Veterinary care will be sought at the Owner’s sole expense, whether or not prior consent is obtained if the Owner cannot be reached in an emergency.
4. Training Services
Client Responsibilities During Training does not end when you leave the facility.
- Owner understands that dog training requires consistent reinforcement beyond sessions at C.A.T.S. The success of training depends on the Owner’s continued effort to follow training instructions.
- C.A.T.S. does not guarantee that Pet(s) will perform trained behaviors in all circumstances, as behavior varies based on environment, distractions, and reinforcement.
- Owner accepts full responsibility for the behavior of their Pet(s) before, during, and after training services. C.A.T.S. is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from failure to follow training guidance or improper handling of the Pet(s).
5. Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments must be rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments may be charged the full fee. Group classes and private lessons follow the specific cancellation policy presented at the time of enrollment.
- Group Classes: Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Training Packages: Sessions must be completed within 90 days (3-Packs) or 120 days (5-Packs) of the first lesson, or the remaining sessions will be forfeited.

6. Payment Terms, Fees, & Refund Policy
Payment terms depend on the type of service. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. You authorize C.A.T.S. and its third-party payment processors to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees.
- Daycare & Training (Group & Private): Full payment required at the time of booking.
- Boarding: 25% deposit due at time of booking.
- Board & Train: $750 deposit due at time of booking.
We accept cash, check, and credit card. Credit card payments may be processed online or in person. Saved payment methods via Goose are encrypted for security and convenience.
Refunds: Training packages are non-refundable unless your dog passes away prior to completion. Boarding cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a refund (minus deposit).
7. Pet Health & Vaccination Requirements
- Owner certifies that their Pet(s) are in good health and up-to-date on all required vaccinations, including but not limited to:
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- DHLPP
- Leptospirosis (if not included in DHLPP)
- Do not bring your pet to C.A.T.S. if they are showing signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, lethargy, etc.). Pets with fleas, ticks, or parasites will be treated at the owner's expense. We reserve the right to deny services to any pet with signs of illness, aggressive behavior, or that fails to meet our vaccination requirements, or without first obtaining approval.
- Spayed/neutered status may be required for participation in group play.
- Pets arriving with fleas, ticks, or other parasites will be treated at Owner’s expense.
- C.A.T.S. reserves the right to deny service to any pet that shows signs of illness, aggressive behavior, or fails to meet vaccination requirements.
8. Risk & Liability
You acknowledge that participation in pet-related services involves certain inherent risks. While C.A.T.S. takes reasonable precautions, we are not liable for injury, illness, death, or property damage unless caused by gross negligence. You release and hold harmless C.A.T.S. from any claims resulting from your dog’s participation in services.
9. Veterinary Care & Emergency Services
In an emergency, you authorize us to seek care from a licensed veterinarian at your expense. A $40 transportation fee will be added, additional costs may apply. You are financially responsible for all veterinary treatment. We will make every attempt to contact you or your emergency contact prior to initiating care.
10. Collection Policy
Invoices not paid within the stated timeframe may be submitted for collections. You agree to pay all fees associated with collections, including legal and administrative costs. We reserve the right to suspend future services for overdue accounts.
Interest & Collections:
Unpaid invoices are subject to late fees of 18% annually or the maximum allowed by law. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be referred to collections. You agree to pay all related costs, including attorney fees.
11. Use of Goose Services
By using our website and reservation system, you also agree to the Goose Terms of Service. Any information you provide via Goose is subject to both Goose’s and our Privacy Policies.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website—including logos, copy, graphics, images, and code—is the property of Canine Advanced Training Services, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without express written permission.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
